Weekly Scriptures
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Joshua 1:8
I've come to understand that spending time with God's Word means allowing it to dwell deeply within our hearts and minds,
becoming an integral part of who we are.
Rather than just reading daily scriptures, I've been guided to focus on weekly scriptures each month. This approach encourages us to reflect on a single scripture for a week, enabling us to grasp what God is communicating to us, memorize it, and incorporate it into our daily lives. In moments of quiet reflection, during the commute, while cooking, showering, or in any situation, we should let the Holy Spirit guide us. Additionally, I've discovered that journaling God's Word can lead to profound truth and revelation. Therefore, whenever the Spirit moves you to pray, sing, or when you sense God speaking to you, it's crucial to jot it down. This practice helps us stay aligned with God's guidance and direction for our lives.

God's Promises in February/2024
When someone promises you something it is a declaration or assurance that when they say they are going to do something they stay true to their word and carry it through, unfortunately sometimes that does not happen, this causes the majority of people left hurt and lose trust in that individual, this is the nature of the world we live in
When God gives you a promise, it is not because we have done anything to deserve it,
Because of God's love for us we were adopted into God's family through His Son Jesus Christ when we accepted Him as our Lord and Savior
He predestined us for adoption to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, Ephesians 1:5 (ESV)
The Bible says in Isaiah 55:11 So, shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
God's Promises to us will never go unnoticed, His Word will not come back void
So, you can rest a sure that whatever proceeded out of the mouth of God you can stand by it, His word holds power, strength and hope, and in order for it to work we have to first believe and then reset our minds and hearts to receive what He has spoken,
Put your trust in God and receive His Promises for your life.

Finding the Holy Spirit in March/2024
“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—
The Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
John 14:15-18
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and that spirit lives in each and every believer that has confessed with his/her mouth and believed in their heart that Jesus is the Son of God He died for our sins and God raised Him from the dead on the third day of His burial (Romans 10:9)
When Jesus knew He was going to be arrested, tried and crucified, He had a talk with His disciples letting them know that He would have to leave but not to fear that He would send a "Comforter" that will help them and guide them into all truth and righteousness.
The Holy Spirit is not a thing or an it, it is not a mystical creature or a genie that you can make wishes to.
The Holy Spirit is a divine person, He is a being with a mind, emotions, and a will.
Cling on to The Holy Spirit and never let Him go.
He intercedes in according with Gods will, not the will of man, He is a testimony of Jesus Christ

God is Worthy of Praise in April/2024
God is worthy and worthy to be praised.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
Psalm 145:3
God is worthy of all our praise all year round, but this month we are going to focus on the Goodness of God which produces our praise and worship towards Him.
Every day of our natural lives God has been so good to us, most people think that they are the ones that hold their fate in their hands, that they are the ones that control their lives, and order their steps, but little do they know our life has already been written.
God has full control of our lives He is the one that holds life and death in His hands in this natural life of ours and in the Spirit. He controls our will.
Whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind? Job 12:10 (KJV)
“The LORD kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up. Samuel 2:6 (KJV)
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)
I say all this to say without God we are nothing and we can do nothing without Him,
He is God and God all by Himself, and He is worthy of all of our glory, all of our praise, and all of our worship.
This month just ponder on how great God has been towards you, how He made a way out of no way, how He pulled you out and saved you, how He been there for you in your time of need.
And give Him Praise and Glory for it.

Endurance in the Month of May/2024
In this season God has really been working on me with many issues that I need to adhere to and master one of them is Endurance, we face many challenges in this world we live in and sometimes we may feel like giving up, it feels like a deep wound that will never heal, sometimes we may even feel like God is nowhere to be found, we may feel like a failure or even defeated by the enemy
God led me to the Book of Hebrews which teaches us that Jesus Christ is Superior of all things, He is seated at the right hand of the Father with
All Power in His hand.
He has made the ultimate sacrifice to forgive us of our sins so that we can have life of peace and joy in abundance. It also teaches us not to turn away from our faith and go back to our old ways especially when life gets hard or when we are persecuted for our faith and are mishandled, we are to keep hold to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and not lose focus, I am now learning this, God has placed me in situations where I had to humble myself and die to my flesh each day and not retract back to my old ways.
He has made me realize that I am nothing without Him, and I have become more dependent on Him during this lesson that He has placed in my path it's funny because when I thought I was depending on Him, He showed me that I didn't come into the full understanding of what it meant to truly depend on Him, I also realize that this walk is a lifestyle, and I cannot walk away from it I have to endure till the end.
This month, our weekly scriptures will focus on Enduring and recognizing that Jesus Christ is Supreme over all things that includes our trials and tribulations in this life

Week 4

For what credit is there if when you do wrong and are beaten, you endure it? But when you do what is good and suffer, if you endure it, this brings favor with God.
2 Thessalonians 3:5
May 26 thru May 31

Joy in Christ in the Month of June/2024
Depending on where you live, June is the month of sunshine, beaches and picnics, it is the start of warm weather and the enjoyment of family and friends, The word joy means a feeling of great pleasure and happiness: the word "JOY" is mentioned over 500 times in the Bible.
Through my studies, I've learned that joy differs from happiness. While some may think they are identical, joy is an internal experience, whereas happiness is influenced by external factors.
Joy stems from peace, and through God's Word, we discover peace in Jesus Christ, which provides the internal joy we seek.
Have you ever just laid in your bed? or just sit in the stillness of God? and all of a sudden you have this overwhelming tinkling feeling inside of you that just makes you put on the biggest smile

Healing in July/2024
I asked God what this month's weekly scriptures will be, for the past 3 weeks I have been feeling a little down and confused about my life.
I pondered on how I have lost my independence due to my lack of judgement about 4 years ago and the result was eventually after living with one family member, I had to move out of state and move into my mom's house,
eventually I found work and currently trying to save money so that I can get back on my feet and start my life over, between my walk with Christ and my day-to-day life it has been a task. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm trying too hard or perhaps not doing enough. When I feel this way, I need Jesus more than ever
Holy Spirit responded with "Healing".
We all occasionally need a reset to regroup and heal from life's challenges, whether it's issues with relationships, work, children, health, or parents. Anything that may hinder us or make us feel unworthy requires attention and care.
Jesus is recognized as our Healer, so during this month's journey of healing and reset, rather than dwelling on your circumstances, let us reflect on
Christ Jesus. He transcends all, being a way-maker, a promise keeper, and an ever-present help.
I pray that you find healing and the peace of God in your life in the Month of July
